I read somewhere that the Ultimate line is “Marvel HBO.”  While I haven’t seen a lot of gratuitous sex there has been a level of mature drama in most the titles.  Maybe it would be better seen as the AMC Marvel?  Anyhoo…neat stuff here.  I tend to think Spencer is setting up a new status quo for the mutants, explaining the books pacing and broad scope.  I’m excited to see how it plays out.
